Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their inherent cool styling and natural articulation, has recently announced the release of the dedicated enhanced armament "CLAWs・Sasori", following Kamen Rider Birth, scheduled for July 2023.
Kamen Rider Birth is a human-enhancement combat suit developed by Kiyoto Maki, director of the Kougami Foundation's Biological Research Institute. Qualified individuals such as Akira Date and Shintaro Goto can transform by wearing the "Birth Driver" transformation belt and inserting ordinary coins. While its usage conditions appear simpler than Kamen Rider OOO, both utilizing the Birth CLAWS System's enhanced armaments and performing special moves require a significant consumption of ordinary coins. An assistant is needed nearby to constantly replenish coins to maintain combat power comparable to OOO.
The "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) CLAWs・Sasori" includes the scorpion-type machine "CLAWs・Sasori", formed by combining various Birth CLAWS System enhanced armaments. The main body features a striking and substantial silver-white paint finish. It can be disassembled into 6 types of equipment: Chest Cannon, Blade Wings, Shovel Arm, Drill Arm, Crane Arm, and Catterpillar Legs. These can be individually equipped on various parts of Birth's body or all equipped together to form the full armament "Birth・day" form!
The Chest Cannon, Blade Wings, and Crane Arm all feature articulated joints, allowing for a wider range of action poses. The Crane Arm's length can be adjusted to two different sizes using interchangeable rope parts. Additionally, accessories include a milk can for holding ordinary coins, allowing for the recreation of scenes where large quantities of coins are loaded!
