Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, has announced the latest addition to its highly acclaimed G.M.G (Gundam Military Generation) series, which features 1/18 scale articulated soldier figures from "Mobile Suit Gundam." The new product is "G.M.G Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island Former Zeon Army 09 Cucuruz Doan & Blanca," with a suggested retail price of 6,600 JPY and an estimated release in July 2023.
The "G.M.G Former Zeon Army 09 Cucuruz Doan" exquisitely recreates Doan, a key character from the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island," in a compact size of approximately 10 cm. His Zeon military space suit features intricate paintwork. The figure boasts articulation from the head, arms, torso, to the legs, and includes a removable helmet, along with accessories such as a pistol, rifle, and various hand parts.
Also included is Doan's cheerful sheep companion, "Blanca." Although a non-articulated model, details such as her eyes and udder are meticulously sculpted. Pair her with other series figures to recreate iconic scenes from the film in miniature.
