From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the highly anticipated latest "Yu-Gi-Oh!" model kit product "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is officially launching on March 11th. Bandai officials recently unveiled prototype samples and introduced the product's features such as design, color, and articulation!
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Blue-Eyes White Dragon" kit is composed of multiple molded color parts such as pearl blue, metallic blue, glossy purple, and clear white... The overall design is further amplified based on the original card illustration, depicting a fierce head with an open mouth, sharp carapaces across the body, and delicate muscle lines.
▼ The head meticulously sculpts delicate carapaces, teeth, and muscle lines around the eyes. The dark blue eyes, purple tongue, and milky white spikes on both sides are all reproduced with molded colors, requiring no stickers for color correction. Both the lower jaw and tongue feature articulation mechanisms.
▼ Once assembled, the kit is quite massive; a single wing fully extended measures 26.5 cm. The wings feature articulated axes for retraction and expansion, and the wing membrane parts are made from soft plastic sheets with gradient printing. Not only does the color tone change with the viewing angle, but the wing membranes also retract and expand as the wing joints move.
▼ The articulation design of the body is also quite interesting. The neck and tail are composed of multiple segments connected by an internal metal wire, allowing them to twist in various directions like a snake, enabling more biologically realistic and natural poses.
▼ There is a display stand connection port on both the lower abdomen and the back, which can be used with the included clear molded display stand to showcase various poses such as flying or attacking.
▼ The product box art was drawn by the renowned animator Takahiro Kagami, who participated in the production of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" anime series, depicting a cool design based on the FRS Amplified version's image!
