Following the Gundam Aerial, the robot-themed action figure series 'ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today announced the commercialization of the enhanced protagonist mobile suit "Gundam Aerial (Rebuild)" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury". This product is scheduled for exclusive sale on PREMIUM BANDAI.
The XVX-016RN Gundam Aerial (Rebuild) is the mobile suit used by protagonist Suletta Mercury. After her fierce duel with the Grassley House, the heavily damaged Gundam Aerial was recovered by Shin Sei Development Corporation, operated by her mother, and underwent significant modifications and enhancements to its exterior armor and weaponry. It features a more robust and refined armor design, a new beam rifle with greatly enhanced performance, and its signature 11 "GUND-Bits" can still form a shield, be used as funnels, or be mounted on various parts of the fuselage to enhance mobility. They can even combine with the beam rifle to form a beam cannon, whose power and caliber are astonishing.
The previous Gundam Aerial, in addition to its excellent articulation design, abundant weaponry, and effect parts, also meticulously captured the elegant armor curves of Aerial in its overall design. For this new Rebuild version, we can also expect a design based on the anime's setting illustrations. Currently, only a product silhouette has been released by the official channels; detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
