First 4 Figures, a British toy company known for releasing numerous exquisite character statues based on popular video games, will launch a new series of products based on the classic game "Dark Souls": the "Siegmeyer of Catarina SD" statue. It will be available in Standard and Exclusive versions, with an estimated release in Q1 2024.
▼Siegward of Catarina SD Statue also available for simultaneous release.
The NPC character "Siegmeyer of Catarina" from the first "Dark Souls" game is known as the "Onion Knight" or "Onion Dad." He explores out of curiosity, possessing a carefree, optimistic personality, and can easily fall asleep anywhere. This creates a stark contrast with the game's gloomy world, and many players find solace in him. Coupled with his interesting onion-like armor design, he is quite popular.
The "First 4 Figures Siegmeyer of Catarina SD" statue stands approximately 20 cm tall. It features a charming super-deformed (SD) style, depicting him in a thoughtful (or napping) pose with his head bowed. Crafted from resin, the statue exquisitely recreates his distinctive layered, onion-like armor. The armor surface is treated with an aged, dirty, and rusted paint application, along with engraved scratches and dents, creating a worn look consistent with the game's world. The base design is inspired by Sen's Fortress, evoking memories of the first encounter with Siegmeyer.
