Following "Asajj Ventress," "Darth Sidious," "Darth Maul," "General Obi-Wan Kenobi," "Anakin Skywalker," and "Darth Vader" in the "Mythos" series of "Star Wars" themed collectibles from the renowned American sculpting brand Sideshow Collectibles, today (17th) they once again unveiled their latest product, the "Yoda - Mythos" full-body statue! Both the regular and EX versions will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date between December 2023 and March 2024.
This piece stands approximately 43 cm tall, recreating Yoda's dynamic pose in lightsaber combat. Even as a Jedi Master over 900 years old, this statue perfectly conveys Yoda's enduring agility. His right hand, extended forward, appears to be wielding the Force, complemented by the flowing movement of his Jedi robes and the necklace swaying in the opposite direction of his forward motion, simultaneously showcasing a sense of speed and dynamic tension! The realistic feel is further enhanced by the detailed sculpting of Yoda's skin texture, the formation of the clothing wrinkles, and the application of shadow paintwork. The base, designed with spaceship wreckage as its theme, also adds to the tense atmosphere of being in battle.
▼ The EX version will include an interchangeable head sculpt with a different hairstyle and a green lightsaber part that depicts a swinging effect.
