The "1/32 Imaginary Skeleton Mosasaurus" assembly model, measuring 35 cm long when assembled, incorporates the latest theories and scientific knowledge, allowing you to experience and understand the structure of dinosaur skeletal specimens through the assembly process. It captures a moment of the Mosasaurus's natural movement and faithfully reproduces the complexity of its skull, including the sclerotic ring that protects the eyeball from water pressure, the double-hinged jaw joint for easier prey swallowing, and the two rows of special teeth on the upper jaw (similar to modern snakes).
It exquisitely recreates the shape of the ribs and rib cage, with bones that are more elongated and streamlined to adapt to swimming, along with detailed flipper-like limbs specialized for agile propulsion. The base also meticulously reproduces marine life from the Cretaceous period, such as ammonites and inoceramids, showcasing the Mosasaurus's habitat. Additionally, it includes a commentary booklet supervised and guided by dinosaur expert Kyoichi Tomita, offering a deeper understanding of the Mosasaurus!
