BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, a Japanese company, has announced the latest product in its highly popular character model kit series, "Figure-rise Standard," featuring the Ultraman theme: "Ultraman Z Original Form," scheduled for release in August 2023.
The protagonist of Ultraman Z, Ultraman Zett, is a passionate rookie in the Land of Light's Space Garrison, claiming to be Ultraman Zero's disciple but still lacking the maturity to be fully recognized. After arriving on Earth, he merges with 'STORAGE' member Haruki Natsukawa. He can use the Z Riser to load Ultraman Medals and transform into various forms, each with unique abilities, yet he rarely uses his original form for direct combat.
The "Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Z Original Form" is constructed from multi-color molded parts and features precise color separation and part design, allowing the body colors to be reproduced without the need for additional stickers. The clear parts for the eyes and color timer are produced using a new "REFLECTION CUT" technology that enhances reflective effects, creating a glowing texture. The overall articulation features flexible joint designs, with a particular embedded design for the dorsal fin behind the neck and movable inner shoulder parts, further increasing the range of motion.
Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, effect parts for the special move "Zestium Beam" made from PET material, and the "Belialok" sword, which features an opening and closing mouth to recreate speaking scenes.
