LEGO has recently begun to successively announce its lineup of sets scheduled for release this summer, and the content is truly spectacular, with the debut of a brand-new original series, "DREAMZzz"! This article will bring you product information for five new sets, numbered 71456–71460.
LEGO's "DREAMZzz" is an original theme that took five years to develop, with approximately 23,000 children and 7,000 consumers participating in research and surveys. Over these five years, Tommy Andreasen and Tommy Kalmar of the LEGO Group delved deep into the study of "dreams" and "sleep." The ultimate result is this DREAMZzz LEGO series, which can present two worlds: "waking reality" and "fantastical dreams"! The main storyline follows characters like "Izzie" and "Mateo" as they embark on a series of extraordinary adventures in the "Dream World," using their imagination to defeat the "Nightmare King." The LEGO Group also hopes that through these building blocks, children can subconsciously overcome the problem of nightmares.
Tommy Andreasen and Tommy Kalmar are also the showrunners for "LEGO Ninjago."
It's worth noting that "LEGO DREAMZzz" has also produced an animation to allow players to further immerse themselves in this fantastical world and deeply understand each character. It is scheduled to premiere on LEGO's official YouTube channel on May 15, 2023, with a total of ten episodes. This wave of LEGO sets can broadly be divided into three main categories: vehicles, buildings, and robots. However, the editor here has prioritized dividing them into PART.1 and PART.2 based on numerical continuity.
Among the sets featured in this article, the editor personally finds the "Mrs. Castillo's Turtle Van" and "Crocodile Car" vehicles, as well as the black and purple "Pegasus" belonging to the Nightmare King's villainous faction, to be particularly appealing! The Turtle Van and Crocodile Car can not only be built into beautiful vehicles but also feature mind-blowing alternate forms! There are at least 2–3 different ways to build them. The Pegasus, furthermore, boasts an excellent design and a high degree of completeness. The minifigures and models in each set are infused with incredibly vibrant color schemes and designs – truly cool.
