Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel recently announced the commercialization of "Dygenguar," the latest addition to their popular die-cast articulated series "RIOBOT" from "Super Robot Wars OG." Simultaneously, they unveiled the prototype under development and some product specifications.
Dygenguar is the Super Powered General Guardian Unit 1, piloted by Sanger Zonvolt. It utilizes the DIRECT MOTION LINK control system and an Artificial Muscle Power Transmission System, allowing for agile movements unimaginable for its massive size and weight, achieving a "man-machine unity" combat style. Excelling in close-quarters combat and sword fighting, it can wield the Sanshiki Zankantou and Guardian Sword to perform various impressive sword techniques, cutting enemies in two with a single strike. When fighting alongside Unit 2, Aussenseiter, it can even ride Aussenseiter, which transforms into a warhorse, unleashing the powerful combined "Tornado Zankantou" special move in a formidable "Blade and Horse Unity" stance.
The "RIOBOT Dygenguar" boasts a larger size compared to other RIOBOT Super Robot Wars OG units, showcasing a powerful physique through its robust limb proportions. In terms of weaponry, in addition to the Guardian Sword, it will also include its signature weapon, the "Sanshiki Zankantou," which is even longer than the main body. The entire figure will feature a wide range of articulation, more robust ratchet joint designs, and even an LED light-up mechanism. It can truly be said to be a culmination of Sentinel's technology, making it highly anticipated.
