After releasing "EVA Unit-01", "Fourth Angel Sachiel", and "EVA Unit-02", Hong Kong toy design brand Mechnoiz Toys' next "Neon Genesis Evangelion" themed new product, "EVA Awakened Unit-01" (tentative), is set to make a powerful debut at the Taipei Toy Festival (TTF) in October 2023!
The "Neon Genesis Evangelion" themed sofubi figures released by Mechnoiz Toys are undoubtedly excellent works that have recently ignited the passion of many EVA fans. Not only the humanoid Unit-01 and Unit-02, but also the eerily shaped Angels boast captivating proportions and intricate detailing. Coupled with their impressive size, approaching 30 cm, which gives them a significant presence, one truly desires to acquire at least one version of each character.
This time's protagonist, the Awakened Unit-01, already made its appearance in its unpainted prototype form at the "24th Hong Kong Animation-Comic-Game Fair," featuring transparent parts on its left arm, chest, and the halo above its head. The painted version, slated for priority release at TTF, faithfully reproduces the setting where the green parts of the restraint armor turn red, while the left arm is a beautiful, somewhat translucent orange-yellow. We eagerly await its full announcement and release!
