Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, officially announces its latest product from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," the "Godzilla (2019) -Night Color Edition-." It has a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for limited release in September 2023 at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO.
The "S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2019) -Night Color Edition-" features sculpting, coloring, and production by renowned monster sculptor Yuji Sakai, with articulation mechanism design by Mitsuhiko Hosokawa. It faithfully recreates the Legendary Godzilla's robust and massive physique, along with the rough texture of its entire body. Inspired by movie scenes, and in contrast to the previously released standard version, it features gradient blue-black paintwork on the chest and dorsal fins, creating the effect of blue light emanating from within its body in the nighttime! Furthermore, interchangeable left and right hand parts allow for dynamic attack poses.
