The high-quality figure series "Figuarts ZERO" released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, which vividly portrays characters performing their special moves with exquisite effects in its "EXTRA BATTLE" line, has announced its latest product, "Monkey D. Luffy - Gear Five Giant," after releasing several popular characters from "ONE PIECE"! The suggested retail price is 17,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2024.
Monkey D. Luffy's "Gear Five" form, awakened after consuming the Gum-Gum Fruit, also known as the "Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan: Nika Form," not only significantly enhances his elasticity but also grants him immense freedom. He can easily stretch and twist his body in various ways, becoming the embodiment of freedom. Not only does he grow stronger the more he laughs in battle, but he also possesses unlimited stamina and can turn his imagination into power, making it the most absurd power in the world. Luffy himself calls it "My peak strength...!"
The "Figuarts ZERO EXTRA BATTLE Monkey D. Luffy - Gear Five Giant" brings Luffy's latest awakened Gear Five form to life in a dynamic three-dimensional sculpt! Standing at an impressive 30 cm tall, it creates a powerful sense of his giant state! It richly recreates Nika's white curly hair, coiled eyebrows, and other distinctive features, with no detail overlooked on his straw hat. The exaggerated leg-lifting pose is both amusing and slightly imposing. Combined with the lightning-like effects and clouds on the base, viewing it from different angles reveals various impressions, from towering and majestic to cute and playful~
