HobbyJapan's model brand AMAKUNI today officially announced its brand new model kit series, "AMAKUNITECH," with its first product featuring the popular mecha "Genesic Gaogaigar" from "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar FINAL," slated for release in May 2024.
The "AMAKUNITECH Genesic Gaogaigar" inherits the design of the previously popular "AMAKUNI KISHIN Genesic Gaogaigar." Designed by the AMAKUNI x Sentinel team, led by mechanical designer Toshihisa Miyauchi, it reinterprets the anime's silhouette with a more powerful physique and high-density detailed sculpting. While it does not replicate the transformation and combination mechanisms, it achieves more stable joints and numerous articulation points for easier playability.
Redesigned as a model kit, it stands approximately 18 cm tall. Precision injection-molded parts are used to recreate its various colors and high-density armor details, while its fiery hair is rendered with clear orange parts. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hand parts and effect parts for weapons such as the Will Knife, Gadget Feather, and Broken Magnum, allowing for the recreation of its most powerful special move, "Hell and Heaven," with dedicated hand parts!
Furthermore, AMAKUNITECH will also simultaneously release a dedicated water-slide decal set (MSRP 1,210 JPY) for this product. These original design decals, featuring white lines and green lines that seem to emanate G-Crystal energy, can be applied to various parts of the body to further enhance the richness of its details.
