BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division, known for its popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts', recently announced the latest product from 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby', 'Kitasan Black', slated for release in February 2024.
Kitasan Black is one of the two protagonists of the third season of the anime 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby'. She and Satono Diamond have been close friends since elementary school. Kitasan Black was filled with admiration after witnessing Tokai Teio's active performance and indomitable will on the race track. In the blink of an eye, Kitasan Black grew from a small foal to be even larger than Teio. After successfully enrolling in Tracen Academy, she joined Teio's team, 'SPICA'. With her cheerful and energetic personality, Kitasan Black always actively faces various challenges, even when confronted by the formidable rival Duramente, she continues to strive towards her dreams.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Kitasan Black' action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall and faithfully recreates her race outfit. The figure meticulously captures the colors and patterns of her attire, which are rich in traditional Japanese elements. It comes with five interchangeable face parts and 3 pairs of interchangeable hands. Thanks to the highly flexible articulation throughout the body, not only can dynamic running poses be achieved, but the articulated ears and tail can also be posed to convey subtle emotional changes in conjunction with various expressions. Additionally, a microphone accessory is included, allowing her to recreate singing scenes, a nod to her background from a family of enka singers.
