TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, recently announced the latest product from "Uma Musume Pretty Derby", "Satono Diamond", joining the popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", scheduled for release in March 2024.
Satono Diamond is one of the two protagonists in the third season of the anime "Uma Musume Pretty Derby", and a childhood best friend of Kitasan Black since elementary school. As the young lady of the Satono family, she admires Mejiro McQueen, who is also a young lady. Just like McQueen's initial goal of upholding her family's honor, Satono Diamond joined the family-operated team "Capella" after enrolling in Tracen Academy, aiming to break the Satono family's curse with her diamond-like will and achieve her family's dream of winning a GI race.
The "S.H.Figuarts Satono Diamond" recreates her race outfit in an articulated figure approximately 13.5 cm tall, meticulously crafting the aristocratic embroidery patterns, the impactful voluminous sleeves, and the gorgeous jewel-adorned earrings, necklace, and running shoes. It also includes four interchangeable face parts. Thanks to the flexible articulation throughout the body, not only can dynamic running poses be achieved, but the movable ears and tail can also be combined with various expressions to convey subtle emotional changes. Although no interchangeable hands are included, the voluminous sleeves are quite ornate and layered, and with their multi-segment articulation, they can still be posed in a variety of ways.
