Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under its popular prize figure brand BANPRESTO, is set to release new additions to its acclaimed "DIORAMA" series. Featuring the trending anime "Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc," these new products, "Satoru Gojo Suit Ver." and "Suguru Geto Suit Ver.," will be available as prize figures, with a staggered release expected in February and March 2024, respectively!
The second season of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" TV anime, "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc," primarily depicts the youthful school life of Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and their peers. It showcases their fresh-faced appearances during their time as Jujutsu High students and further details the genesis of their transformation from former classmates to bitter enemies. The popular character Suguru Geto, during his Jujutsu High days, was in the same class as Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri. Beyond being Satoru Gojo's closest friend, they were also known as the strongest duo of Jujutsu Sorcerers. However, after the Star Plasma Vessel escort mission, he and Gojo gradually diverged due to differing ideals, leading them down separate paths.
The BANPRESTO prize figures, "DIORAMA Satoru Gojo Suit Ver." and "DIORAMA Suguru Geto Suit Ver.," are based on the manzai comedian design from the cover page of manga chapter 77, bringing these two characters in suits to life as stunning figures! The duo, known for their playful banter, individually take on the roles of tsukkomi (straight man) and boke (funny man), allowing fans to imagine endless scenarios even without dialogue. Satoru Gojo comes with a small "Jujutsu Kaisen" standee, while Geto's accessory is a standing microphone. The bases are designed to resemble wooden stages, and when combined, they form a complete and dynamic performance scene!
