Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize brand BANPRESTO today (11th) unveiled its new product lineup scheduled for release in March 2024. In addition to the humorously delightful "Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragon & Toon Summoned Skull", from "Yu-Gi-Oh!", there are also these two fantastic new products: "Millennium Puzzle" and "Millennium Key"!
The Millennium Items are key artifacts that run through the story of "Yu-Gi-Oh!". There are a total of seven items, including the Millennium Puzzle, Millennium Eye, Millennium Scale, Millennium Key, Millennium Ring, Millennium Rod, and Millennium Necklace. They bestow mysterious powers upon their chosen wielders. Each item possesses different abilities, but all can initiate what is known as a "Dark Game". The origin of the Millennium Items dates back 3000 years to the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt, when the lives of all the villagers of Kul Elna were sacrificed to repel invaders. The Millennium Puzzle and Millennium Key, which are now being brought to life in 3D, were held by Yugi Muto and Shadi, respectively.
The detailed dimensions for these Millennium Puzzle and Millennium Key have not yet been revealed, but we hope they will be close to a 1:1 scale, offering a realistic feel when held! The Millennium Puzzle faithfully recreates its sharp lines, surface engravings, the ring at the top, and the striking Millennium Eye symbol on the front. The Millennium Key also meticulously restores its in-series appearance. The effect of the golden paint finish, however, will likely need to be seen in person to be fully appreciated! Once acquired, you'll definitely want to add a cool chain or lanyard to wear them!
