GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan is releasing the latest product in their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over 1000 different figures, featuring the popular anime Oshi no Ko: "Nendoroid Aqua"! The suggested retail price is 5,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2024.
The male protagonist of Oshi no Ko (【推しの子】), Aqua, whose real name is Aquamarine Hoshino, is the fraternal twin son of popular idol Ai Hoshino and Ruby's twin brother. In his previous life, he was obstetrician Gorou Amemiya, who delivered his beloved idol Ai Hoshino's babies, but was murdered before Ai gave birth... Upon waking, he found himself reborn as "Oshi no Ko" (a child of his idol). Using memories and knowledge from his past life, he investigates the cause of his previous life's death and Ai's death, and tries to prevent his sister Ruby from becoming an idol.
The "Nendoroid Aqua" stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating Aqua's distinctive star-shaped eyes, asymmetrical golden hair, and school uniform in an adorable Q-version style. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "cool face" for his usual demeanor, an "eerie face" reflecting his deep schemes, and a "smiling face" for his warm side. These can be combined with accessories such as a "smartphone," a "camera," and classic in-series cheering items like "glow sticks" and a "B-Komachi support board" to enjoy various fun scenes!
Orders placed via the "GOODSMILE Online Shop" will include a bonus "Special Round Base".
