Following the release of "Kamen Rider Ark-One" from the popular 'S.H.Figuarts' action figure series, issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, news was announced today that "Azu," another manifestation of Ark's malice from 'Kamen Rider ZERO-ONE,' is also confirmed for commercialization. Detailed product information will be revealed on October 26th.
With a physical appearance almost identical to Hiden Intelligence's CEO secretary Izu, save for her long hair and red eyes, Azu is an emissary dispatched by the communication satellite Ark, brimming with malice and intent on destroying humanity. To trigger a chain reaction of malice between humans and Humagears, thereby allowing countless Ark wills to descend and destroy the world, Azu secretly moved among various factions, assisting Ark in spreading its malevolence. She even once caused protagonist Aruto Hiden to become Ark's vessel, "Kamen Rider Ark-One."
It currently appears that "S.H.Figuarts Azu" will be a modification of the previously released "S.H.Figuarts Izu," utilizing the same body with newly sculpted long hair parts. However, the most crucial aspect remains the soulful facial expression parts. While the previous "S.H.Figuarts Izu" employed digital coloring technology to print actress Noa Tsurushima's face sculpt, it eerily resembled an evil deity stripped of its soul, faithfully reproducing the 'Toei Pig Farm' effect. It remains to be seen if the new Azu version will show any improvement.
