The popular action figure series 『S.H.Figuarts』, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today announced the latest product from 《Ultraman X》, 「Ultraman Exceed X」, scheduled for release in May 2024.
When Ultraman X's body was scattered into data by dark thunder energy, protagonist Daichi Ozora risked his life to enter the computer world to search for the data. Guided by an unknown force, he obtained the enhanced equipment 「Xlugger」 from within a rainbow. This not only allowed Ultraman X to successfully awaken, but the two, having broken through their limits, also deepened their assimilation effect, evolving into the new, rainbow-glowing form 「Ultraman Exceed X」 without relying on any external power. In this form, he can utilize the 「Xlugger」 stored in his forehead to unleash the powerful special move 「Exceed X-Slash」.
「S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Exceed X」, produced in cooperation with Tsuburaya Productions' LSS sculpting department, recreates the in-show appearance with an articulated specification of approximately 15 cm in height. The gaming RGB rainbow lines across the entire body are all applied with color paint, and the beautiful gradient colors of the 「Xlugger」 are created using digital coloring technology, faithfully reproducing the rainbow-glowing characteristic of this form. By replacing head parts, the state where the 「Xlugger」 is removed from the forehead can be recreated. With flexible articulated joints, he can wield the 「Xlugger」 in his hand, and combined with five pairs of interchangeable hands (left and right) and accessories like the red light color timer, various battle scenes can be enjoyed.
Furthermore, the product also includes interchangeable hands for the separately sold 「S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X」, allowing the basic form to also hold the 「Xlugger」.
