BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced today that the latest products from its popular Shokugan series 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA', the "Sisquiede AEUG Color" and "Sisquiede Titans Color", originating from the game "SD Gundam G Generation", are scheduled for release in March 2024.
The original mobile suit LRX-077 Sisquiede, which first appeared in the 2002 game "SD Gundam G Generation Monoeye Gundams", was developed as an escort unit for the super-large MA "LRX-066 Terra-S'ono" within the "Siren Project" development program spearheaded by the Titans' Newtype Lab "Leipzig". Although its exterior adopts a Gundam-type design, it features a rare monoeye head camera for a Gundam-type, earning it the moniker "Monoeye Gundam". This unit is equipped with the highly destructive large composite weapon "I-Field Long Rifle", which combines functions such as an I-Field, Mega Cannon, and Beam Rifle. It also features a limit release mode that significantly enhances mobility but places an immense physiological burden on the pilot.
The "G-FRAME FA Sisquiede" is based on the old version released in 2019, featuring precise sculpting that conveys a heavy armored texture, a flexible movable frame design, and a split-part design for the upper head that allows for disassembly to adjust the monoeye camera's articulation. Additionally, parts such as the wrists and thighs have been upgraded to the FA version, with complete armor coverage on the rear of the frame. In addition to the original powerful armament "I-Field Long Rifle" and auxiliary stand, the new version further includes newly sculpted AEUG/Titans LOGO dedicated display bases and two beam sabers.
