Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS" series, which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, recently announced that its latest product will be the "Gundam AGE-FX" from "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE". Detailed product information will be officially released on October 31, 2023.
The Gundam AGE-FX is the protagonist mobile suit piloted by the grandson, Kio Asuno, in the fourth arc of "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE", which features three generations. This mobile suit was extensively modified based on data from the Gundam AGE-3, boasting high firepower, high mobility, and high defense. Its performance far surpasses previous AGE series mobile suits, making it arguably the strongest mobile suit, the culmination of the AGE System. It was also adjusted as a dedicated unit for Kio, who awakened as an X-Rounder, equipped with 14 wireless guided weapons, the "C-Funnels", which can utilize X-Rounder abilities and perform omnidirectional attacks as blades or shields. This mobile suit also features the "FX Burst Mode", which removes its operational limits. Upon activation, the mobile suit emits a blue glow, significantly enhancing its mobility, defense, and melee combat performance.
Currently, only a silhouette of the "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam AGE-FX" has been revealed. The product clearly reproduces the characteristic 14 dedicated "C-Funnels", mounted on the shoulders, backpack, skirt armor, and other locations. With dedicated clear stands, various attack and defense modes can be recreated.
