GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest addition to their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products, from the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident Arc": the "Nendoroid Choso"! Priced at 6,500 JPY (tax included), it is scheduled for release in May 2024!
Choso (ちょうそう), a character from Gege Akutami's manga "Jujutsu Kaisen", is one of the fetuses of the special-grade cursed object "Cursed Womb: Death Painting" created by the most evil sorcerer in history, Noritoshi Kamo. As the eldest son of the Death Paintings, he deeply cherishes his younger brothers, Eso and Kechizu. After incarnating, he takes the form of a man with twin topknot hairstyles and possesses the "Blood Manipulation" ability, which allows him to convert cursed energy into blood and control it for combat.
The "Nendoroid Choso", standing approximately 10 cm tall, adorably recreates Choso's distinctive hairstyle, facial markings, and reddened eyes. It comes with three face plates: a standard "Silent Face", a "Crimson Scale Exploding: Loaded Face" with bulging veins, and a third face plate that will be revealed with future anime updates! Combined with "Blood Effect" parts and a variety of interchangeable hand parts, you can recreate exciting battle scenes from the series!
