GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced a classic re-release from their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: the "Nendoroid Sakura Kinomoto" from the popular anime "Cardcaptor Sakura"! The suggested retail price is 6,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2023!
The popular protagonist of "Cardcaptor Sakura," Sakura Kinomoto, is a lively, kind, innocent, and empathetic cute girl. Her slightly clumsy yet straightforward personality allows her to push forward with her invincible mantra, "It'll definitely be alright!" After accidentally releasing the sealed "Clow Cards," she not only successfully re-sealed them but also used her own power to transform the Clow Cards into her own "Sakura Cards." One of Sakura's most well-known characteristics is her ever-changing wardrobe; almost every appearance features a new outfit made for her by her friend Tomoyo, which is also one of the reasons for her high popularity.
The "Nendoroid Sakura Kinomoto" articulated figure, approximately 10 cm tall, re-releases the Nendoroid No. 400 product first launched in 2014, featuring her most classic costume design. Over time, the price has also increased from the original 4,800 JPY to 6,200 JPY. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a gentle "smiling face," a cool "seal release face," and Sakura's unique "happy face." Accessories include the "Sealing Wand" for physical attacks, "Clow Cards," and "Keroberos (Kero)." Additionally, there are "interchangeable waist parts" and a "flying Sealing Wand" to recreate her flying magic poses!
