Following the release of KAngel, Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" has announced its latest product, "Ame-chan," from the popular ADV game "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE," slated for release in May 2024.
In the text adventure game "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE," developed by Japan's Xemono team, players take on the role of an amateur internet live streamer producer, nurturing a girl named "Ame-chan" who has a difficult personality, a fragile heart, and a desperate need for validation. Players must transform her into the deliberately sweet and constantly fan-pleasing internet streamer "KAngel" (short for Super Cute Angel-chan), aiming to reach one million followers within 30 days. However, depending on the nurturing approach, players and Ame-chan will face various different endings.
The "POP UP PARADE Ame-chan" figure captures her true appearance before transforming into KAngel, rendered as a 17 cm tall pre-painted figure. Its intricate sculpting showcases her dynamic twin-tail hairstyle and her cute Jirai-kei fashion, with complete paintwork on details such as the metal buckles of her suspenders, the embroidery on her skirt hem, and her red shoelaces. Her captivating pupils and eye makeup are rendered using color printing.
