Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced another new product from the Star Wars series "Ahsoka," this time featuring the Empire's strategic mastermind and major antagonist, "Grand Admiral Thrawn," as a 1/6 scale collectible figure! Expected to ship in Q4 2024 - Q1 2025.
In "Ahsoka," "Grand Admiral Thrawn," portrayed by Lars Mikkelsen, consistently displays a confident and composed demeanor. Even when facing the formidable Jedi "Ahsoka" or "Ezra," who once defeated him, he remains unperturbed, employing a combat strategy of offering enemies limited choices to predict and then outmaneuver them. This 1/6 scale realistic rendition of Grand Admiral Thrawn stands approximately 32 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. In addition to faithfully recreating his iconic blue skin and crimson eyes, the figure meticulously reproduces his white uniform, officer insignia, belt with holster, black boots, and other character details. The movable eyes also allow for variations in the head sculpt's expression.
Accessories include a simulated holographic Star Destroyer battleship with a detachable stand (L16 × W16 × H25 CM), a display screen, a pistol that can be stored in the holster, and multiple interchangeable hands. There's only one minor point that might be a bit disappointing: the Grand Admiral Thrawn in the show wasn't this thin! Where's the potbelly!?
