The action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, today (14th) announced its latest product from "Dragon Ball Z": "Super Saiyan Son Gohan -The Warrior Who Surpassed Goku-" (スーパーサイヤ人孫悟飯-悟空を超えた戦士-)! It is scheduled for release in April 2024.
Standing approximately 11 cm tall, this figure features a new sculpt and the latest joint structure, bringing "Super Saiyan Son Gohan" to life in the S.H.Figuarts series once again after 14 years. Another major highlight is the series' first-ever adoption of a fabric cape! With an embedded wire, it can be bent to create more dynamic poses, significantly reducing interference with articulation and allowing collectors to better control the figure's balance during play. Furthermore, the cape part can be freely detached to display Gohan in another state.
The head sculpt meticulously captures Gohan's exaggerated hairstyle and facial expressions after transforming into a Super Saiyan. In addition to four interchangeable face parts—shouting, gritting teeth, calm, and surprised—which are sufficient to recreate various emotional states, it also includes an alternate head part with golden hair fiercely flowing (distinguishable by the number of bangs). Coupled with multiple interchangeable hands and a gi made partially from soft materials, collectors can recreate a variety of powerful battle poses!
