The 'MODEROID' model kit series, launched by MECHA SMILE, a brand under Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, today announced the latest product from the anime 'Eureka Seven', the "Nirvash type ZERO", scheduled for release in June 2024.
The giant robots known as "LFOs" that appear in 'Eureka Seven' are the result of humanity excavating mysterious humanoid skeletons from underground and then using modern technology to install control systems, power, armor, and weapons. They are typically equipped with a flight component called a "Lift Board" to achieve high-mobility aerial maneuvers. The "Nirvash", piloted by protagonists Eureka and Renton, is the very first LFO ever manufactured, the origin of all LFOs, hence its designation "type ZERO". Its specialized Lift Board, crafted by a master artisan, boasts flight speeds that even surpass the military's Terminus series.
The "MODEROID Nirvash type ZERO" kit is comprised of multi-color molded parts, some pre-painted parts, and decals. Once assembled, it stands approximately 16 cm tall and is fully articulated. The overall design faithfully recreates the anime's aesthetic and features flexible joint designs, allowing for dynamic combat and flight scenes to be recreated with its Lift Board, dedicated display stand, multiple interchangeable hand parts, and two boomerang knives detachable from its shoulders.
Furthermore, by swapping certain parts, the unit's transformed "Vehicle Mode" can also be recreated. The cockpit hatches on both sides can be replaced with either colorless clear or solid red parts, and same-scale mini figures of Renton and Eureka (molded in white) are included to be placed inside the cockpit.
