The "METAL ROBOT Damashii" series, a line of completed models combining metallic paintwork and alloy frames, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has unveiled a prototype of its latest work from "Gundam Reconguista in G": "G-Self (Perfect Pack)". The release date is yet to be determined.
The G-Self equipped with the Perfect Pack is an enhanced form that appeared in the later stages of the story. This specialized pack, developed by the Venus Globe, integrates the functions of six previous packs: atmospheric, space, reflector, trick, high torque, and assault. It can instantly switch functions according to the battle situation. It is also equipped with various powerful armaments such as photon torpedoes, all-range beams, and photon detection. Among them, the photon torpedoes can convert the energy generated after annihilating targets back for the main unit's use, making it a terrifying strategic weapon when considering neither friend nor foe. Due to its extreme danger, it was sealed by Bellri and no longer used.
The "METAL ROBOT Damashii G-Self (Perfect Pack)" will feature an alloy frame structure for the G-Self main unit. The overall sculpt is somewhat similar to the previously released ROBOT Damashii version, and it's not yet confirmed if the sculpt has been remade. However, the overall paintwork will undoubtedly continue the METAL ROBOT Damashii style, imparting a weighty texture and body marking prints. The Perfect Pack, which was not released in the ROBOT Damashii version, is confirmed to be entirely new, but the currently exhibited content only shows its basic form, without any deployed configurations.
