PROOF Co., Ltd., a company that releases various anime and manga character merchandise, has announced its latest product based on the TV anime "My Hero Academia": the "Izuku Midoriya Deku ver." 1/7 scale diorama figure! The suggested retail price is 29,150 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2024.
The protagonist of "My Hero Academia," Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed "Deku," was initially somewhat timid and prone to crying, and even a rare "Quirkless" individual in society. However, due to his deep admiration for the No. 1 hero "All Might," he harbored immense aspirations of becoming a professional hero! His belief that he must put in several times more effort than others and be willing to self-sacrifice to help others earned him All Might's recognition, leading him to inherit the "ONE FOR ALL" torch.
The PROOF "Izuku Midoriya Deku ver." 1/7 scale figure, with a total height of approximately 225 mm, vividly recreates Izuku's intense battle pose, bringing to life the effects of his activated One For All Quirk and his "SMASH" attacks. Details such as his hero costume, gloves, waist bag, boot protectors, and his fluffy, spiky hair are all meticulously crafted. The figure includes interchangeable head parts with different expressions, allowing collectors to display Izuku gritting his teeth in battle with his bangs flowing! The base features a damaged road sign and rebar, creating a sense of battle tension and grandiosity!
