BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, is releasing the latest product in its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, based on the popular anime series "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." The new item, "S.H.Figuarts Frieren," will have a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2024!
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The "S.H.Figuarts Frieren" action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating Frieren's light purple twin tails, subtle aqua eyes, and pointed ears. Her white and gold-themed outfit is incredibly charming, with the skirt and small cape made from soft materials to minimize interference with articulation. It comes with three interchangeable facial expressions: a neutral face, a serious battle face, and an adorable squinting eye face. These can be combined with interchangeable hand parts, a magic staff, magic circle effect parts, and an alternate ponytail to enjoy Frieren in both her cute and cool forms!
▼ "S.H.Figuarts Fern" will also be released later!
