S-FIRE, the popular figure brand under Japan's SEGA Games Co., Ltd., will release its latest product, the "Nobara Kugisaki" 1/7 scale figure, based on the popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen." It will have a suggested retail price of 26,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2024!
Nobara Kugisaki (くぎさきのばら), a popular character from Japanese manga artist Gege Akutami's manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen" (呪術廻戦), is a classmate of protagonists Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro at Tokyo Jujutsu High, and is led by the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. Her personality is cheerful, yet sometimes sharp-tongued and incisive. She enjoys dressing up and following fashion trends, using nails and a hammer engraved with a heart-shaped pattern as her cursed tools. Due to her frequent display of rough and wild behavior, fans affectionately call her "Kugi-nii."
The "S-FIRE Nobara Kugisaki" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 25 cm tall. Its sculpt is based on the scene from the TV anime's first season, "Death Painting Arc," where Nobara uses "Straw Doll Technique: Hairpin" during her battle with Eso. It vividly recreates Nobara's cool pose with a dynamic effect as if directly taken from the anime. The powerful cursed energy effects in the background are pierced by giant nails, creating an impressive presence (however, the most important part, the face, seems a bit off)! The uniform's wrinkles are emphasized through shadow painting, and combined with the pose, it achieves a textured effect. Additionally, by using the dedicated "Play AR" application, you can activate AR effects that link with the figure, presenting powerful visual effects that transcend reality.
