The Japanese toy brand WAVE's "Dream Tech" series will release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of the heroine "Anice Farm" from the classic 80s anime Sonic Soldier Borgman, featuring her in a swimsuit. Titled "Anice Farm Memories Style", it is scheduled for release in April 2024, priced at 22,000 JPY.
Sonic Soldier Borgman (超音戦士ボーグマン) is a near-future sci-fi anime produced by Ashi Productions, which began airing on Nippon TV on April 13, 1988, with a total of 35 episodes. In Taiwan, it was broadcast by China Television, Eastern Entertainment Channel, Eastern Comprehensive Channel, Chung Tu Cartoon Channel, and Star Chinese Movies, with distribution rights acquired by Proware Multimedia International.
Influenced by the trend set by Saint Seiya in 1986, this work also incorporated "battle suits" and "armor transformation" elements. The story is set in 1999 Japan, where four meteorites called "Demon Stones" fell, destroying the capital. 31 years later, in 2030, invaders from another dimension known as "Demons" attacked "Megalo City" (メガロシティ), a new city in Tokyo Bay. Their true purpose was to place a fifth Demon Stone to complete a magic circle, revive the Demon King, and conquer the world. At this critical moment, three young individuals wearing special battle armor stepped forward. They were cyborgs known as "BORGMAN." The three protagonists, Ryo, Chuck, and Anice, along with scientist Memory, fought to save the world.
Notably, the anime's heroine, Anice Farm (アニス・ファーム), became famous because during her electronic transmission transformation into her Battle Techtor (バルテクター) armor, the animation meticulously depicted the subtle compression and movement of her chest as the armor formed. This "jiggle physics" was prominently displayed on her, captivating many fans at the time and inspiring numerous doujin artists to create GK (garage kit) models based on Anice. The renowned "Anice in the Mirror World" (鏡の国のアニス) is a prime example.

This 1/7 scale PVC figure, "Anice Farm Memories Style," from WAVE's DreamTech series, draws inspiration from the aforementioned elements. It recreates Anice in the image of a "Beach Queen," bringing to life the Anice from the nascent era of GK models. Incorporating elements that evoke a sense of fantasy, it presents the original Anice in a distinctly different, sexy, and beautiful appearance.
