Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya's popular plastic model kit series "Frame Arms Girl" and its cross-IP collaboration series "Cross Frame Girl" today announced the latest product in collaboration with the classic robot anime "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar", the "Goldymarg & Stealth Gao II Set", scheduled for release in June 2024.
In the original work, "Goldymarg" is a powerful weapon developed by the GGG Mobile Unit to alleviate the physical strain on Guy caused by his ultimate attack "Hell and Heaven". Besides transforming into three forms itself, it also grants GaoGaiGar greater power, allowing it to release an energy coating that envelops GaoGaiGar's entire body, transforming it into a golden form, and unleashing the ultimate attack "Hell and Heaven Hammer" by driving light nails into the opponent's body. "Stealth Gao II", on the other hand, can combine with GaoGaiGar to form the space-use specification "Star GaoGaiGar".
The "Cross Frame Girl Goldymarg & Stealth Gao II Set" product includes a newly sculpted mecha girl version of "Goldymarg" and an SD-style "Stealth Gao II". It can combine with the separately sold "Cross Frame Girl GaoGaiGar" to recreate "Star GaoGaiGar", and comes with newly produced armaments such as the "Dividing Driver" and "Light Nail Effects" to reproduce the ultimate attack "Hell and Heaven Hammer" where light nails are driven into the opponent's body.
The "Goldymarg" is also designed by Eiji Komatsu as a beautiful girl, featuring a highly articulated young girl body approximately 12 cm tall. Incorporating the image of an elementary school student carrying a backpack, it can be transformed into an adorable form carrying the Goldy Hammer. When combined with GaoGaiGar, it is secured onto the auxiliary arms much like a child's safety seat. Accessories include three pre-painted face parts and four pairs of interchangeable hand parts.
Furthermore, by removing the armor and hammer parts from the young girl body, it can be assembled into the Goldy Tank form, just like in the original work. It can even combine with Stealth Gao II to form an original aerial vehicle mode, allowing the young girl body to ride it as if it were a children's play equipment.
