BANDAI SPIRITS's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, will release the latest product in its popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series, "S.H.Figuarts Fern," based on the popular anime series "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2024!
In the Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, Frieren's apprentice, Fern (フェルン), is a war orphan raised by Heiter. She possesses a very calm and composed personality. Entrusted by Heiter, she travels with Frieren and takes care of the somewhat lazy Frieren like a mother.
The "S.H.Figuarts Fern" action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, recreating the grown-up Fern (who has become like Frieren's mother). Her purple long hair and understated black robe exude a calm charm. Parts of the robe are made from soft material to minimize interference with articulation. It comes with four interchangeable face parts: her signature expressionless face, a pouting displeased face, a disdainful face, and a smiling face. Also included are the wooden staff she has used since childhood and defensive magic effect parts. Combine these with interchangeable hand gestures and the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Frieren" to recreate impressive poses and scenes.
