FREEing (フリーイング), a Japanese toy company, recently announced a new Anis 1/4 scale pre-painted PVC figure from the mobile game 'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' as part of their "B-Style" series, which specializes in exquisite 1/4 scale character models! It is scheduled for release in September 2024.
'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' is a mobile game released in November 2022 by Korean company SHIFT UP, combining elements such as third-person shooting, bishojo training, and character collection. Players take on the role of a rookie commander, leading a squad of humanoid weapon girls called "NIKKEs" to battle mechanical enemies known as "Raptures" on the surface. The NIKKEs are humanity's last hope for reclaiming the surface. Anis is one of the NIKKEs who becomes a companion early in the game, and like Rapi, she is a member of the "Counter Squad." She is known for her lively personality that brightens the mood and her witty remarks about various unreasonable missions (lol).
This figure boasts a significant presence, standing at approximately 40 cm tall. It captures Anis in her default illustration pose, with her right hand running through her hair. Her battle suit, predominantly orange, gray, and black, with its extremely revealing design, is faithfully reproduced. Intricate details of her equipment, such as her military cap, hair clip, ammunition belt worn around her body, and the massive launcher on her back, are meticulously recreated. What will undoubtedly excite all Commanders is the sculpting of Anis's voluptuous physique, including her undeniably impressive bust size, the realistic 'biting' effect of the equipment straps on her thighs, and her perfectly rounded posterior curves – all absolutely superb. Personally, I find the expression of the head sculpt to be somewhat angle-dependent, which is a minor drawback.
