BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, Japan, recently announced the latest product from the Kyoukai Senki model kit series, "HG 1/72 Bunyip Jinger", from the spin-off Kyoukai Senki: Kyokukou no Souki, scheduled for release in June 2024.
The Bunyip Jinger is a large AMAIM unit operated by the Oceania Allied Forces. It inherits the unique appearance and transformation design of the Bunyip series, while improving upon the previous models' lack of firepower. Its upper body is equipped with heavy armor and weapons such as a Gatling gun, flamethrower, and shield. Furthermore, its lower body features a transformation mechanism, allowing it to transform into a four-wheeled high-speed mobility form.
The "HG 1/72 Bunyip Jinger" utilizes multi-color molded parts to recreate its grayish-white armor, dark gray frame, and weaponry. Once assembled, it stands approximately 20 cm tall. The entire model features flexible articulated joints, allowing it to transform into its high-speed mobility form without needing to swap parts, and all four wheel parts can rotate independently. Weaponry includes a Gatling gun, flamethrower, and shield. Additionally, various parts of the body are equipped with multiple 3mm expansion ports, allowing for the attachment of separately sold Kyoukai Senki series weapons.
