BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, which produces the Kyoukai Senki series of plastic models, recently announced the latest product from the spin-off series Kyoukai Senki: Steel Ghost of the Borderline, the "HG 1/72 Aaron Rhino", slated for release in May 2024.
Aaron Rhino is the latest mass-produced model utilized by the North American Alliance Army. While this unit inherits some of the exterior design of the Brady Fox, it features an improved AI and enhanced mobility thanks to a redesigned backpack thruster unit. For enemy reconnaissance, the head camera's cover deploys, allowing its three lenses to operate independently for wide-range detection.
The "HG 1/72 Aaron Rhino" utilizes numerous new parts to faithfully recreate its improved military green heavy armor. The head camera parts can be swapped to display both "Combat Mode" and "Reconnaissance Mode". Its armaments include a short sword, assault rifle, and chain gun. Furthermore, various parts of its body feature multiple 3mm expansion ports, allowing for the attachment of separately sold Kyoukai Senki series weapons.
