BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest product from the Kyoukai Senki model kit series, the "HG 1/72 Aaron Rhino (Grady's Custom Machine)", originating from the spin-off series Kyoukai Senki: Kyokko no Soki, scheduled for release in February 2024.
The Aaron Rhino (Grady's Custom Machine) is the personal unit of Grady Allison, captain of the Gigasteel Thunderbolts, who harbors a deep-seated grudge against protagonist Jin Misawa. This machine is a modified version of the North American Alliance Army's latest mass-produced model, the standard Aaron Rhino. In addition to its black color scheme, the shoulder thruster units boast higher thrust than the standard model. It is equipped with close-combat specialized armaments such as a custom sword and a short-barreled rifle, tailored to his fighting style.
The "HG 1/72 Aaron Rhino (Grady's Custom Machine)" utilizes numerous new parts to recreate its heavily armored design, improved from the Brady Fox. The head camera parts can be swapped to display both "Combat Mode" and "Reconnaissance Mode". Its armaments include a custom sword, a short-barreled rifle, and a chain gun. Furthermore, various parts of the body feature multiple 3mm expansion ports, allowing for the attachment of separately sold Kyoukai Senki series armaments.
