Danish toy company LEGO's 'LEGO Icons' series, aimed at adult LEGO fans, yesterday (9th) unveiled its latest product, item number 10331, the 'Kingfisher Bird' brick-built model! It is scheduled for release on February 1, 2024.
This set contains a total of 834 pieces, and once assembled, it stands 21 cm tall. It not only uses a rich array of dark blue and light brown bricks to recreate the beauty of the kingfisher's feathers and outlines the head shape, but also places a small fish in its beak, excellently depicting the kingfisher's habit of skillfully catching small fish from the water surface. The completed model itself exudes a strong sense of dynamism, and with its adjustable neck and claws, as well as the splashing water effect on the base created with transparent pieces, the overall effect is truly impressive, possessing a vividness never before seen in previous LEGO bird products! The reeds on the base also make for a wonderful embellishment.
