SEGA PRIZE, a prize game division under Japan's SEGA Games, will release a new product, the "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Mini Plush" set, as part of its popular "Mini Plush" series, themed after the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. There will be three types available, all sold as prize items, expected to debut in mid-February 2024!
The Japanese manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン), written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The SEGA PRIZE "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Mini Plush" recreates the great mage Frieren, Fern, and the much-anticipated Mimic, all as small, approximately 10 cm plush dolls! The three plush dolls are sold separately. You can see Frieren's crying face from the front, and by placing Frieren into the Mimic's mouth, you can recreate the classic scene "It's so dark, it's so scary!!" Fern's expression watching from the side makes this absurd scene even funnier—you absolutely must collect all three!
