American toy brand SUPER7 yesterday (16th) announced a new "ULTIMATES!" series action figure based on Toho, from the 1995 monster film "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah": "Shogun Godzilla 1995"! Pre-orders are now open on the SUPER7 official website, with shipping scheduled to begin in August 2024.
This "Shogun Godzilla" is inspired by the Shogun Warriors toy series released by MATTEL in the late 1970s. In addition to fully recreating the retro appearance of the Shogun Warriors Godzilla, it is also painted to resemble the "Burning Godzilla" from the film, where Godzilla's internal temperature exceeded 1180 degrees Celsius. The figure stands 8 inches tall (approximately 20 cm), making it compatible with other "Toho ULTIMATES!" monster figures. Beyond articulated limbs, it also features a retractable flame tongue and a spring-loaded firing fist, making it incredibly fun.
