Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya today announced its latest product, "Frame Arms Girl Architect Black Ver.", from the popular bishoujo plastic model kit series "Frame Arms Girl", scheduled for release in June 2024.

This release, the Architect Black Ver. body, was originally part of the "Knight Master Architect" product, an Amazon Japan (amazon.co.jp) exclusive sold in 2020. It is now finally making its official debut in general retail channels. Compared to the original version's gray-white color scheme and emotionless, poker-faced expression, the Black Ver. is re-imagined with black armor and golden long hair, and a completely opposite personality of arrogance and strength, showcasing a different kind of character charm.

The kit for "Architect Black Ver." is essentially the same as the Knight Master version body. It recreates the character's image with golden hair parts, black and gunmetal armor parts, and pre-painted face parts including "Serious Face (forward gaze)", "Confident Face (down-right gaze)", and "Smiling Face (left gaze)". It features pull-out shoulder joints, movable skirt armor, and ankles, allowing for various poses with multiple PVC-made interchangeable hand parts. By using the non-articulated left arm and left leg replacement parts, the signature illustration pose of the Architect series can be recreated.

The body features numerous 3mm expansion ports characteristic of the Architect series, allowing for free customization and modification with other products in the same series, or with Kotobukiya's Hexa Gear, Megami Device, M.S.G, and other plastic model kits. Furthermore, Kotobukiya will re-release "EX Armor Type E Black Ver." and "Knight Master Sword Black Ver." in April and May of this year, respectively. These can be combined with this version of the body to recreate the Knight Master Architect that was originally an Amazon exclusive!
