Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Throne Legacy (スローンレガシー)" product line yesterday (25th) unveiled its latest product from DC Batman comics: the "Psycho-Pirate Concept Design by Carlos D'Anda" 1/4 scale full statue! Shipping is expected to begin from June to September 2025, with a suggested retail price of 114,290 JPY (tax included).
In the Batman comic story "City of Bane," Gotham City fell into Bane's hands. However, the Joker and Riddler became Gotham City Police Department's strongest detective duo, Hugo Strange took office as Police Commissioner, and two generations of Firefly served as firefighters... These villains' transformations were due to Psycho-Pirate's ability to manipulate others' emotions. He controlled a host of villains with the slogan "...deeply loves this city, deeply loves his Gotham, deeply loves Bane...", making them all act under Bane's rules with the premise of "protecting Gotham City."
This piece stands approximately 58 cm tall, recreating Psycho-Pirate's red and black-themed costume and his power source, the golden Medusa Mask. Although Psycho-Pirate is not a character who fights with physical strength, the statue still displays robust muscle lines and meticulously sculpts the wide red cape's wrinkles caused by his hand movements. The base, like the Flashpoint Batman released simultaneously, features a realistic industrial steel texture with delicate rust effects.
