Among the products from the Danish LEGO toy company, the "Minifigure blind bags (LEGO Minifigures)" – arguably the most accessible for collectors – have unveiled their latest 26th series! The product number is 71046, and it's a special space-themed series.
Judging from the 2024 product lineup, space themes are indeed one of LEGO's key focuses. In addition to launching multiple sets in the City and Technic series in the first half of the year and creating brand-new "Space Air Lock" parts, we now have this Minifigure blind bag series that showcases the mysterious charm of the cosmos, which is truly exciting! Although official character names have not yet been announced, we can get a glimpse of each Minifigure's characteristics and charm from their appearance and the character list from falconbricks. Besides new parts, we can also see many instances of old parts being given a fresh look with new printing, including super mini aliens in micro-scale, a grey robot dog, a futuristic-looking penguin, and more – all super cool.
Originally, my personal favorite was No. 2, the robot piloted by the tiny alien, but the more I look, the more I realize it's not just one – many characters are truly interesting! These include No. 3, the alien tourist echoing the Series 6 Minifigure alien; No. 5, the M-Tron character's printing; No. 6, the pink space baby; No. 8, the white helmet part; No. 9, the retro leg part reminiscent of 90s Space series sets; and No. 12, Blacktron's double right arm design. There are certainly many Easter eggs hidden within that I haven't discovered yet, and if you know any, feel free to discuss them with us in the comments section! We eagerly await the full announcement – it's time to buy the whole set again!
