Following the "X-ATH-02-DT Rabidly Dog" from the robot alloy action figure series "ROBO-DOU" by Hong Kong toy brand threezero, the second product from "Armored Trooper VOTOMS," the "ATM-09-ST Scope Dog," was recently announced for release in Q3 2024.
Developed by the Gilgamesh Army, the official main AT, the "ATM-09-ST Scope Dog," was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, it is not only the AT model that protagonist Chirico Cuvie is most skilled at piloting, but its extremely high versatility also led to its modification into various derivative specifications, utilized across different units. This model's head is equipped with a triple rotating lens that can switch between standard, sniper, and wide-angle modes, transmitting raw visual information to the pilot's helmet. In addition to its extendable Arm Punch and leg-mounted rollers for high-speed movement, the unit can also carry various live ammunition weapons via handheld, backpack, and limb hardpoints.
The "ROBO-DOU Scope Dog" utilizes composite material parts such as ABS, PVC, POM, and alloy to recreate a design closely matching its in-series appearance. The entire body features precise color application and weathering effects, with numerous details such as heat vents, maintenance hatches, rivets, and fuel tanks meticulously sculpted. Standing approximately 14.6 cm tall, it boasts 76 points of articulation. The articulated frame is primarily constructed from alloy, and it features an extendable "Arm Punch" mechanism with a shell ejection effect, as well as deployable leg rollers and turning assist spikes, allowing for the recreation of dynamic battle poses from the series.
Furthermore, the main body incorporates numerous articulated features to enhance playability, including a deployable head visor, a triple rotating lens that can rotate to recreate various modes, and opening chest cockpit hatch and abdominal maintenance hatch. A richly detailed cockpit control system is also crafted, allowing the mini-figure of protagonist Chirico Cuvie to be placed inside to recreate the piloting state. Armaments include the "GAT-22 Heavy Machine Gun" and three magazine parts that can be attached to the gun or the side skirts.
