GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular Nendoroid series from Japan has announced its latest product from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: "Jaden Yuki"! It is scheduled to be released in August 2024, with a suggested retail price of 6,600 JPY (tax included).
Jaden Yuki is the protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and a student at Duel Academy's "Slifer Red" (オシリス・レッド) dormitory. Although Slifer Red is the lowest-ranked dormitory, Jaden possesses strong card battling skills and incredibly powerful drawing luck. He is also a duelist who enjoys the fun of dueling, with his catchphrase being "I won! That was a fun duel!" He can not only see Duel Monster spirits but also communicate with his partner "Winged Kuriboh." Although he once succumbed to darkness, he eventually rediscovered his original joy of dueling during a duel with Yugi Muto. Jaden specializes in using Elemental HERO cards combined with Fusion, Quick-Play, and other Spell cards for battle.
"Nendoroid Jaden Yuki" stands approximately 10 cm tall, recreating Jaden's classic look in his Slifer Red Academy uniform, along with his jellyfish-like two-tone brown hair. In addition to two expression plates—a smiling face and a shouting face—to depict scenes of enjoying duels and launching attacks, an expression plate featuring his two-toned eyes after his soul merged with Yubel in the later part of the story is also included, allowing for a more mature Jaden! Accessories include a finely detailed Duel Disk, interchangeable hands holding a monster card, and his good partner Winged Kuriboh.
