Japanese brand Good Smile Company, known for its "Nendoroid" series featuring over a thousand characters, has announced a new addition to its popular "My Dress-Up Darling" lineup: the "Marin Kitagawa Swimsuit Ver." This Nendoroid will be released alongside Wakana Gojo, priced at 6,300 JPY, and is slated for September 2024 release!
This swimsuit rendition is inspired by the anime's second episode, where Marin first met Wakana at his home for cosplay costume measurements. To ease Wakana's potential embarrassment, Marin opted to wear her swimsuit for the fitting. The scene, filled with inevitable physical contact and Wakana's palpable nervousness, created a truly heart-pounding atmosphere!
The "Marin Kitagawa Swimsuit Ver." Nendoroid stands approximately 10 cm tall. The facial and head sculpts remain largely consistent with the previous standard version, once again featuring her mischievous grin. Despite the Nendoroid's signature 2.5-head-tall proportion, Marin's stunning figure in her black floral swimsuit is faithfully recreated, making for a truly impactful design at this scale! Furthermore, this release includes interchangeable face plates with embarrassed and commanding expressions. Combined with the sitting leg parts, collectors can recreate the iconic, blush-inducing scene where Marin places her foot on Wakana's knee!
