Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, will release two new products based on the super popular anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" – "Satoru Gojo Suit Ver." and "Suguru Geto Suit Ver." Each is priced at 5300 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024!
In chapter 77's cover page of "Jujutsu Kaisen," created by Japanese manga artist Gege Akutami, popular characters Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were depicted in suits, standing on a stage performing Manzai, a Japanese stand-up comedy duo act. This Manzai comedian style has been adopted by numerous brands in recent years to release various merchandise and toy products. Now, GOODSMILE COMPANY's popular Nendoroid series has also announced its participation, bringing us more renditions of this amusing scene!
"Satoru Gojo Suit Ver." and "Suguru Geto Suit Ver." both stand approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating Gojo and Geto's suit styles from the cover page. Their facial expressions are also accurately reproduced in the Nendoroid's chibi proportions. The base features a wooden stage floor pattern, and accessories included in Gojo's and Geto's sets respectively are a signboard printed with the words "Jujutsu Kaisen" and a microphone used for Manzai, allowing all toy enthusiasts to recreate the scene from the cover page at home!
